The Fulbright Program is the world's best known and most prominent symbol of
international education. The program's awards are based on the principles of
open competition and individual merit without regard to the recipient's
institutional affiliation, geographical location, race, color or creed.
KAEC is pleased to announce in this document its annual competition for Fulbright awards for the 2008-2009 academic year. Over 200 awards (including new and renewal) will be made to Koreans and Americans this year for graduate study, lecturing, research, English teaching, American Studies Institutes, or international education. Applicants for these awards must be citizens of either the Republic of Korea or the United States, as appropriate, at the time of application.
All of the awards and conditions announced in this brochure are subject to the availability of budgetary appropriations from the governments of the United States of America and the Republic of Korea.
