Our Mission / Who We Are
The mission of Fulbright’s U.S. Education Center is to promote education in the United States. We offer services to help U.S. educational institutions with student recruitment and promotion in the Korean market. The value of our services is based on the following key elements.
- Korean students and their parents strongly prefer localized (Korean-language) information.
- The Fulbright Commission in Seoul has unequaled credibility in the Korean education market.
- Korea is, by many measures, the world’s leading broadband internet market.
- The Korean-American Educational Commission (Fulbright) in Korea operates from its own building, with full-time technical and web staff to support our services.
As a member of the EducationUSA worldwide network of more than 450 State-Department affiliated advising centers, we adhere to that network’s mission statement. We also adhere to the State Department’s principals of good practice for EducationUSA advising and it's advisory statement on working with private study abroad agencies.
We are also an active member of NAFSA: The Association of International Educators, and adhere to that organization’s ethical principles.
